This is an advertisement for Diesel found online though it was primarily used as a billboard.http://images.teamsugar.com/files/usr/0/3987/Picture%205_0.preview_0.png

This photo demonstrates a few characteristics that were described in the text, Photo Idea Index by Jim Krause.
Depth Perception: This is a wide shot with a deep depth of focus and the vast amount of space in the frame is made obvious by including the people and the architecture off in the distance.
Hue and Saturation: These elements were definitely used to make the colors of the birds and the subjects stand out to make the viewers' eye fall on them.
Repetition: The birds are scattered throughout the frame randomly, even far into the background. They help accentuate depth perception and they emphasize the message Diesel wants to get across. By having parrots in a European city, which are native to the tropics, they are also trying to say that their products stand out and are as unique as the birds themselves.

Bio Photo

This photo describes my life in a number of ways...

the laptop:
I love my computer. I'm always on it, it's my way of keeping in touch with people all over the world, it's my window to everything I want to see or explore, it's my means of obtaining information and expressing my creativity.

imovie:
As you my notice, it is opened up into imovie, which is done purposefully to show my love of editing and filmmaking.

Eiffel Tower:
It is also intentional that the Eiffel Tower is on the screen. I studied abroad last semester in Madrid and made a short video documenting each of my weekend trips. I love traveling more than I could possibly say, and combining video into makes it ten times better!

the books:
I threw the books in there to show my love of languages - I learned Spanish while in Madrid and I find it to be one of the most soothing sounds I have ever heard and my next language to attempt to learn will be French, hence the Spanish-English dictionary and the French phrase book.

the color:
I consider myself to have a very colorful and outgoing personality so I wanted there to be some color in the photo to reflect that.
